What do you need to join InterIX?

Join InterIX


InterIX is a neutral and open Internet Exchange located in Amsterdam Nikhef and Zoetermeer Colocenter. InterIX was founded by network enthusiasts who wish to have a solid and central peering location to connect networks without a commercial point of view as other Internet Exchanges have.

Requirements to join

  • Your own AS Number
  • Legal Entity with postal address and email address
  • Have their own peering policy
  • 24/7 Phone number for emergencies

Technical

If you need any information about connecting to our exchange, feel free to contact us. The following technical requirements are needed:

  • MAC Address used to connect
  • Announce at least 1x IPv4 /24 prefix
  • Physical connection to our infrastructure
  • Updated peeringdb record
